The Aberdeen Health Foundation amplifies your generosity to advance health care in Pictou County. Every donation makes a difference. It helps fund equipment, improve access to care, and enhance health programs in our community. The Foundation is dedicated to working collaboratively to create a Pictou County where every person has the opportunity to attain their best health. Your generosity fuels this work and makes all things possible.

Aberdeen Hospital is the regional acute care facility serving communities in Pictou County and Northern Nova Scotia. The Hospital provides a broad range of primary and secondary health care services through inpatient, outpatient, and community-based services and programs.

Our Impact

In 2023, donor generosity was turned into $2.3 million in enhancements to health care.

Over $1.6 million went to medical equipment and capital projects
$480,000 was directed to promote population health and accessibility to health care
$95,000 went to advanced training and initiatives to attract and retain health professionals
$70,000 supported the palliative care program
