About
Oxfam is a global movement of people fighting inequality to end poverty and injustice. We work alongside people in every region, acting locally and globally, to bring about lasting change.
Our work is based on our commitment to the universality of human rights. We are driven by diversity, and our advocacy is based on experience and evidence, championing the fight against poverty and injustice around the world. We take a feminist approach in all our analysis, actions and interactions.
Our Impact
Alongside thousands of partners and allies, we work in more than 90 countries, in every region of the world, to empower communities to build better lives, build resilience, and protect their livelihoods, even in times of crisis. Because we want sustainable solutions, we are fighting the inequalities that fuel poverty and injustice. We campaign for deep and meaningful change.
We are convinced that we must work together with other organizations to bring sustainable solutions to the injustice of poverty by pooling our efforts and expertise. That’s why we work with more than 4,100 partners, allies and communities in over 90 countries. Together, we reached more than 25 million people worldwide last year, 54 % of them women and girls, through our long-term development programs, advocacy campaigns and emergency response.

The donations you make to Oxfam-Québec are used to build a future that aims for equality through the implementation of projects. These projects make it possible to:
- Fighting poverty and inequality
- Provide populations with access to water
- Support communities so they can feed themselves while adapting to climate change
- Strengthen gender equality
- Provide humanitarian aid in an emergency.
